Monday

NO SCHOOL!!!!!!!
    Tuesday
Today was started by doing morning work, as usual.After announcements,we went to mass. Jill alter served and did a fantastic job.After mass, we went to math. Then we read  a  story from our book, called The Big Storm. After that, we went to Art. In Art, we printed our castles.It was very fun. When we got back  from Art, we presented our Explorer Activities.Then we had lunch. Today’s special was Chick-fil -a. We had recess and than Dear.As usual, we got our stuff for Science and left. After Science came social studies .We took notes on early explorers, like Marco Polo, for example.Then came Shop and then we went home.
    Wednesday
We started our day as usual. With morning work. Today is Ash Wednesday, so we got ashes on our foreheads in the shape of a cross at mass. Jill alter served again and did very well.Then we went to math. After math we graded our spelling packets that were due.Then we got our binders and left for Spanish. Some people presented their P.I.E. activities after Spanish. After that, it was time for lunch and recess. Then it was time for Dear. After that, we went to Science. After Science we did a reflection for Lent in Religion.  It was then time for language arts and we learned about tense verbs. Then it was Shop finally, we went home.
    Thursday
Today was a normal day. Which meant we had  to do morning work. Today is the second day of Lent and is already challenging! After announcements, we had a little bit of free time. Then we graded our spelling packet and graded the vocab unit that was due. After that we went to math and then went to music and P.E.Then it was time for lunch and recess. After Dear, we went to science. Then we had social studies. We had five minutes extra, so we got to work on homework during that time. After that we had Shop and we finally went home.
    Friday
Today was started by doing morning work, as usual. After announcements, we work on morning work for a few minutes and then went to computer. After computer, we took our  spelling and vocab tests. Then we went to library and worked on the Heritage Fair  information. After that, we had lunch and recess. We had math and then science. After science we had Stations of the Cross. Then it was time for Shop and we went home.

Tuesday

When we first got to school we did Morning work as usual.   After we did our Morning work we went to mass.  Once we got back from mass, we went to Math.  As our assignment we did a maze.  When we were done we went to ART.  In art we worked on our castles.  Then we had lunch.  Our special lunch was Hy-Vee.  When we were done we went to recess.  After that we had D.E.A.R.  Then we had Science.  Once we got back we had Social Studies.  Finally we packed up, had S.H.O.P, then left.

Wednesday

When we got to school we did Morning Work.  Then we went to all school mass.  Today we had Science first because Ms. Rise’s class had assessments.  After that we went to Spanish.  Spanish was downstairs because of people testing.  When we got back we went to lunch and recess.  Then we had D.E.A.R.  After that we had Math. 

Thursday

When we first got here we did our Morning Work, after that we had to go straight to assessments.  When we got back, we went to math after math we went to music then P.E.  Once we got back from specials, we went to lunch, it was Planet Sub.  Then we had recess.  When we got back we had D.E.A.R. and went to science.  After science we went to Honk Jr. performed by the 7^th and 8^th grade choir.  We were able to go with our buddies!  The show was really good.  Then we had S.H.O.P. and went home.

Friday

When we first got to school we had Morning Work. We had a little bit of free time, and then went to computer.  One we got back from computer, we went to science.  Then we went to library.  After that we went to lunch then recess.  Lunch was Bistro Kids.  After recess, we had assessments.  Then we had math, S.H.O.P. and went home.

ESPN REPORT!

Monday

Today we started our week off with school starting at 8:00 a.m. L .First we did Morning Work. Then we read our new story, “An Island Scrapbook” and took notes in our spiral. Then we had some time to work. After that we listened to Annie’s ESPN report, and Matt, Kaitlyn and Betsy’s Valuable Values. (They were really good!) Then we got ready to switch for Math. In math we got to look at our quiz! Then we looked in the book and got a worksheet on expressions. After that we went to Music and P.E. In music we tested for recorders and in P.E. we talked about Jump Rope for Heart and played with Tiny on scooters. After that we watched “Holes” until it was time to go to lunch. Today there was no special lunch. Then it was time for recess! After recess it was time for D.E.A.R. We watched the rest of “Holes”! I thought it was great! Not as good as the book of course, but I liked it! Then it was time for Science. In science we graded our super six and looked at our tests. We got to correct any mistakes that were made! Then for the rest of the time we got to work on something. After that Mrs. Cobb came. Then we had Religion. In religion we did a Scripture Reflection on the story, “The Prodigal Son.” After that we had Language Arts. In L.A. we talked about Action Verbs. We took notes and did a page in our Language Arts workbook. Then it was time for S.H.O.P. and finally we went home! J

Tuesday

We started our day out with Morning Work. Then we went to mass at 8:15a.m. Our response was, “How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord, mighty God!” and our priest was Fr. Mike. After that we took a practice test for Assessments coming up. Then it was time for Math. In math we graded our assignment, looked in the book, and got a worksheet on multiplying and dividing expressions. When we got back we graded our practice tests and then we went to Art. In art we sketched our castles that we were making. After that we graded DOL and went to lunch. The special lunch today was Culvers. J Then we went to recess. Right after recess we launched Sid! Then we had D.E.A.R. and got ready for Science. In science we graded our Super Six and took notes in our spiral on the solar system and the chapter, “Earth and its Neighbors.” Then we read out of the book about Earth’s Orbit and got no homework!! J After that it was time for Religion. In religion we talked about the meaning of the story “The Prodigal Son” and finished the reflection packet. After religion we graded our L.A. tests. Then it was time for S.H.O.P. and we went home!!

Wednesday

Today we started off with Morning Work, (Like always!), Then we had All School Mass. Our priest was Fr. Mike. After mass we graded our spelling packet. Then we had Math. In math we graded our assignment. We looked in the book and got a worksheet on Graphing a Function. When we got back, we graded our reading packet. After grading the packet we went to Spanish. In Spanish we first said a prayer. Then we got a worksheet on spelling numbers. We corrected DOL and went to lunch. Today there was no special lunch. L  We went to recess and had D.E.A.R. After that it was time for Science. In science we graded our Super Six and then we looked in our books and got a worksheet about What Keeps the Planets in Orbit. We also got to do 1-5 Think and Write questions for extra credit that was due on Friday. Then it was time for Language Arts. In L.A. we took notes in our spiral, and did a page in our L.A. workbook on Direct Objects and Action Verbs. Next we had S.S. In social studies we had laptops today, so we did research on Climate, Coat of Arms, Customs, and Culture of our country for the Heritage Fair. Then it was time for S.H.O.P. and we went home!

 Thursday

Today, first we did Morning Work. Then we graded our vocab and took a spelling test. After, we took a reading test on the story, “An Island Scrapbook”, that we read on Monday. When everyone was finished we got our Social Studies tests back! Everyone did awesome! J Then it was time for Math. In math we did practice assessments and got a two- sided worksheet. Right after math we went to music and tested for recorder. In P.E. we played the game where you run back and forth across the floor without getting tagged. We also played Rugby with Tiny. When we got back we cleaned our desks because the stomach flu was going around and no one wanted to catch it! (They looked super clean after!) Then we went to lunch. The special lunch today was Panera. We went to recess after, and had D.E.A.R. It was time to get ready for Science. We first graded our Super Six, as usual, and got a packet on Earth and its Neighbors. Then we had Social Studies. We started a new unit! We watched a video and took notes about America’s Explorers and Pioneers. After, we listened to Blake’s ESPN report. (It was really good!) Great details Blake! We finally had S.H.O.P. and went home!! J

Friday

It’s Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!! We started our day with Morning Work. After announcements we had a lot of time to work until it was time for Computer. In computer we saved pictures for the Black History month. When we got back we took a vocab test. Then we did an activity and a Reflection on bullying. (I thought it really helped to talk to God about this one!) After, we had Library. We did research for the Heritage Fair. We came back and graded our DOL, we went to lunch, recess, and had D.E.A.R. BTW, the special lunch was Mr.Goodcents. After, we got ready for Math and Science. We got a worksheet on divisible numbers in math, and graded our Super Six, watched a video, and took notes in our spiral about the Solar System in science. (We switched early!)  So… when we got back we got ready for Faith Families. We had S.H.O.P. and went home for a cold but beautiful weekend! Monday

We started the new week off with Crazy Sock Day! So, we started our day out with M.W. Then we took vocab on our new story “How to think Like a Scientist “and worked in groups on our comprehension. Then we went to math. After math, we had Music and P.E. In music, we took a test on our D Major Scale. After our specials we had Lunch and Recess. After that we had D.E.A.R. After D.E.A.R we had Science. After that we had S.S. and LA. In S.S we got our study guide and in La we graded our study guide. Finally, we celebrated Alex’s half B-Day, packed up, and went home.

Tuesday

We started our day out with M.W. as usual. Then we went to Mass. After Mass, we went to Math. In Math, we got our study guide. After Math, we went to Art. After Art, we had Lunch and Recess. Then we had D.E.A.R. After D.E.A.R, we had Science. After Science, we had S.S. we had our rosary. Nice job Cooper and Olivia. Then we had shop and went home.

Wednesday

Today is Teacher Appreciation Day! We started our day out with M.W. We had switched schedules with Friday. After we were finished with M.W, we went to Computer. After that, we corrected our S.S. study guide. Then we took our L.A. test. Then we had Library. Then we had Lunch and Recess. After that we had D.E.A.R. After we had D.E.A.R, we had Math. Then we had Science. We took our test. After Science, we did comprehension. Then we celebrated Sophia’s half birthday, packed up and went home.

Thursday

Today is Student Appreciation Day! So, we started our day out with M.W. Then we typed and researched Heritage Fair. After that we went to Math. In Math, we took our quiz. Then we went to Music and P.E. Then we went to Lunch. It was Papa John’s. Recess was next. After that, we had D.E.A.R. Then we had Science. We had our assembly with Mikey Needleman Band. Then we went home.

Friday

Today is Near and Dear Day. We started our day out with M.W. Then we went to Mass. When we got back from Mass, we had our Near and Dear. Then we had Spanish. After Spanish, we had Lunch and Recess. Then we had D.E.A.R. Then we had Math, then science, and S.S. Then we had Shop and went home.

MONDAY

So, we started out the day the day with M.W [as always]. Then the announcements’ came on. We all got kind of sad because it was Juan’s sisters half  B-day! Aww!! Then we read our new book Carlos and the Skunk.  After that we had math, we learned about perimeters. Then, we went to music and P.E. then our specials for the day were over.  After that we had lunch, then recess.  After that we had  D.E.A.R,  then science  and religion. Then Caroline, Alex and Jackson did there valuable values before it was time to go home.

Tuesday

When we got into the classroom it said on the board that Miss. McKee got new markers. YAAAAAAAAA!!!! Any way we had M.W. then we went to church. The response was, “ who is the king of glory, it is the lord’, then we had math. We learned about the area of rectangles. Then we got into our groups and did our comprehension.  We had special lunch it was Papa John’s. Then recess then D.E.A.R. Next, we had science. Today, we had our experiment. Yaaaaaaa!!!!!! Oh and we had art.   

                  

Wednesday

Today is exactly a month since Christmas… Well….. that stinks!  We did morning work as always. Then we went to our all school mass for the week. Then we went to math. We learned about the area of parellograms. After that, we went to Spanish. Today in Spanish, we learned a new song. Then we went to lunch\recess followed by D.E.A.R. After that, we had science. The S.S. and ending the day was SHOP.

Thursday

Today started out with morning work. Then some horrible, horrible news came out…………….. WE have 15 more minutes of school!!!! Wawa!!! Then we went to math to do some Pre- assessments. After that we had our music and P.E.   We also had lunch and recess. Then we got back and had D.E.A.R. followed by Science. We worked on our study guide for a while. Then S.S and SHOP.

Friday

Today was a normal day. We got to computer at 8:30 as always. Then when we got back, we had our reading test. Then we went to library. Then we got back and Miss. McKee passed out our tickets for lunch.  We then had recess. Then D.E.A.R. and switch. SHOP ended the day and then it was time to go. This is Annie K Schorgl with E.S,P.N news signing off.
